Product Description

GCR 42 is a 100% solids, low viscosity epoxy primer/sealer designed as a moisture tolerant penetrating primer for concrete and carbon steel surfaces. This class product conforms to ASTM-C-881, Type 1, Grade 1, Classes B or C, Title 21 CFR 175.000 USDA requirements, exhibits ease of application, surface tolerance and excellent adhesion. It reduces bubbling and pinholes when top coating with various GCR Flooring and other chemical products.

Reduction: None required - Xylene if necessary, but no more than 10% by volume

Pot Life: 1 hour @ 70°F (1 gallon mixed)

Mils Thickness: 7-14 mils. Do not exceed 20 mils.

Drying Schedule:

(temp/humidity dependent) 50°F / 80%RH 75°F / 50%RH
To Touch: 6 hours 4 hours
Tack Free/Re-Coat: 8 hours 6 hours
Dry Hard: 24 hours 24 hours

Full Cure: 5-7 days Mandatory.

Storage: 12 month shelf life, if stored unopened at 45°F-70°F (re- inspect after 1 year). Keep from freezing or prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat.
